Going International!

Gosh, these winds are tricky. Today they started out nice and steady out of the west, another nice downwind sail. Great. Then we come up to the De Tour Passage between De Tour and Drummond Island, the same channel that freighters come in through to get to the St. Mary’s River and on to Lake Superior. Anyway, as soon as we got into the channel we were met with head-on 20kt winds…and another hour of rocking and rolling and bashing into waves.

By the time we got to Harbor Island, just off the northern Drummond Island shore, we were beat. Fortunately, we were in a calm, quiet, well-protected harbor where we could rest up before we go INTERATIONAL! Yahoo!
We like rope swings around here
And boy did we go international with style, champagne toast and all! Watch out Canada, Hullabaloo has arrived, eh!

  1. Way to go, Hullabaloo! Congrats on arriving.

Rope swings are pretty fabulous everywhere.

    Have fun, guys!
